Troubleshooting Steps
- Collect ColdFusion thread dump and heap dump
- Use eclipse memory analyzer to see regions of heap space being consumed
- Found ColdFusion runtime memory session scope was consuming majority of java heap space
- Block known bots
- ColdFusion Session Management – check for cookies – doesn’t accept cookies then we assume it is a bot
